Thread: Favorite OT

    Favorite OT

    I don't watch much film, and haven't really seen these guys play much, so wanted to get y'all's opinion on who you'd prefer. Any reasoning behind your choice would be appreciated, especially if you've watched their tapes.

    Currently, I think I'd want Bolles. He seems to be exactly what you'd want in a future LT, but lacks experience. He has great feet, has a mean streak, and can continue to add weight to his frame. Ram would be my 2nd, or essentially 1b, but his injury scares me a bit.

    Also, I've kept Forrest Lamp out of the equation here. He's currently my favorite OL in the draft, and it seems as if most folks on the MB would agree, so didn't want to use him in the poll.
    NFL Draft (Realistic Hope):

    Rd 1
    Garrett Bolles - OT
    David Njoku - TE
    Zach Cunningham - OLB

    Bolles is the only one that has a future at LT. Ram is gonna end up a RT and Robinson at best will be a RT but will probably benefit from sliding inside to OG.

    I think I agree. From what I read all 3 can play RT now, but Bolles actually projects as a future LT.

    I like Robinson as far as tools go. I don't really get Ramczyk. Nice player but he does nothing for me. Found myself bored to tears watching him though that can be a good thing.

    Bolles in the 2nd would be awesome. I like him as well. All three have risks. I think Cam is the least risky, although he is very risky too. Ram is my least favorite.
    LT (132.5) -> Strahan (141.5) -> Osi (65) -> Tuck (60.5) -> JPP (50) -> ???

    You think Bolles will be there in the 2nd?? Everything I've read has him as a top 20-25 pick.

    at least you added that last part. If watching an OL bores you to tears, then most likely he's getting his job done.
