Hey if Coach Mac was pissed about the scheduling last year:

    http://giantswire.usatoday.com/2016/...hedule-makers/

What is he going to be this year, lol??
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Dallas(week 14) was off a TNF, which came off a well rested TNF game, they played Thanksgiving, then the following week against the Vikings on TNF again, so they got a full weeks rest to play Vikings...

I had to look it up because as a season ticket holder it was starting to get to me.....including the upcoming season here is how many consecutive seasons NFL teams have currently opened either at Home or Away:

5 Away Openers in a row = The New York Giants (1)
    4 Away Openers in a row = Panthers (1)
    3 Away Openers in a row = Steelers (1)
2 Away Openers in a row = Bucs, Raiders, Chargers (3)
1 Away Openers in a row = Eagles, Jets, Saints, Chiefs, Jags, Colts, Cardinals, Falcons, Ravens (9)

    7 Home Openers in a row = Broncos (1)
    6 Home Openers in a row = None (0)
    5 Home Openers in a row = Cowboys (1)
    4 Home Openers in a row = Texans (1)
3 Home Openers in a row = Skins, Niners (2)
    2 Home Openers in a row = Titans (1)
1 Home Openers in a row = Seahawks, Patriots, Vikings, Dolphins, Rams, Packers, Lions, Browns, Bengals, Bears, Bills (11)

Meaningless but hopefully one of these years the Giants can kick off a season at home.....the only way to ensure that is to......

I checked that was it. People on these boards tend to complain and blow things out of proportion.
    LT (132.5) -> Strahan (141.5) -> Osi (65) -> Tuck (60.5) -> JPP (50) -> ???

According to this thread in 2014 the Giant's had never had a Thursday night Home Game on the short week. Had two since 1940 but they were in Week 1 thus no short week.

They had had 7 Road ones to that point but not sure if that was counting that Seasons TNF away Game??

Since then they finally got one vs the Redskins in 2015 and again for 2016 vs Skins again. So now counting this year they have had 2 Home and 8 Away games on the Short Week

Hey we have made a case of Opening against Dallas for last 4/5 years in a row

I wonder has anyone noticed that every TNF Game since 2014 except last year has been against the Skins. 2014 and this year @ Washington and 2015 at MetLife

I'm fine with the schedule. If NY Giants are good then it shouldn't matter. I particularly like 3 of last 4 games are at home for is and considering how I've heard that our home games have been akin to playoff atmosphere with how much NY Giants were in to it in 2016, then that will be to our advantage.
You wanna see a bad schedule then look at Carolina Hurricanes in NHL. Every season they play their first 6-7 games on the road because Governor refuses to change the date of State Fair which coincides with the starf hockey season.

Same number of days off as everyone else

Just wanted to point out that the Giants and the rest of the teams all have the same number of days off. They won't be any more run down than any other team by the end of the season. The problem is only that they will be playing teams that are better rested immediately before they play the Giants. This is still a disadvantage, but it won't account for things like having less time to go to Miami or anything else.
