    Kareem Hunt - RB Toldeo

This is one of my favorite players in this entire draft. I have Hunt rated as my #5 RB over guys like Kamara and Foreman. Hunt is a do it all kind of RB. Runs with power and elusiveness, can pass block, catch and has the best balance out of any RB in this class. If he falls to round 3, we should grab him as soon as we can. He averages only 1 fumble per 850 touches!

Him and Samaje have been the 2 rbs I've been mocking. Like what he could bring to the offense. His pro day speed was better than I expected as well. And yeah, brings a lot in the pass catching aspect as well.
    2017 Mock Draft (Pre-combine / FA):

Rd 1: OJ Howard (TE, Alabama)
Rd 2: Tanoh Kpassagnon (DE, Villanova)
Rd 3: Antonio Garcia (OT, Troy)
Rd 4: Samaje Perine (RB, Oklahoma)
Rd 5: Davis Webb (QB, Cal)
Rd 6: Ahkello Witherspoon (CB, Colorado)
Rd 7: DJ Jones (DT, Ole Miss)

I like Hunt ( dropped weight) looked good in Senior Bowl.
I was hoping to get Elflein in Third round. I wouldn't be upset if slected. Still, think AP will sign with Giants.

in those gifs he kind of reminds me of Ahmad Bradshaw. I would be happy with this pick. I really think the Giants are going to take a rb in the first 4 rounds.

Yeah, he is kind of Bradshaw like and I do think RB is a big priority. If Hunt is on the board in the 3rd, he would be my pick.

I haven't watched any clips of him but in those gifs he is constantly moving his feet. That's always a good sign for an RB. Be the opposite of a Ron Dayne. haha.

If he and Samaje are both there in the 3rd, (assuming we don't take Cook or McCaffrey earlier), I'd probably go with Samaje, but he does look like he has nice potential.

I like him. In my mind though, Marlon Mack is a step above him as a runner, route runner & receiver. Marlon Mack can catch really well. I see Marlon Mack as more akin to Christian Mccaffrey...a guy that can do it all. OTOH Kareem's lack of fumbling is so impressive and cannot be ignored. The knocks on Mack are ball security and power. His ball security is below average but i'm hoping can be improved. Power is not an issue in my view because he isn't that type of a runner. it is apples and oranges. In my view, Mack has the unteachable intangible quality to potentially be elite at the next level. But considering that Marlon Mack has soft hands just like Mccaffrey and is a stellar route runner just like Mccaffrey and has the best home run ability in the entire draft IMHO he is the bettter choice. He is my number one underrated guy in the entire draft. Al that being said, I like Hunt also. But check on Mack too. If he becomes a Giant we fans are going to absolutely love him. I think he goes on to be a superstar in the NFL. On ESPN last night they compared Mack to the chicago bears all pro Running back. He could be the steal of the draft IMO. True dat.

Watch his quickness and agility in cuts...sans OBJ or Mccaffrey...can't be taught...he could play WR in the NFl and be a number 1 for a team, just like mccaffrey. that is rare IMHO.

The only issue with mack >>>>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/n...tial-fumblers/

so it depends on whether he can be taught ball security or if not fumbling is more important or not in your view. I recall Tom Coughlin talking about how he felt he could teach RBs not to fumble. So maybe I am biased becasue fo that.

    Yards per carry:

Karrem hunt 5.6 YPC (yards er carry)
    VS.
Marlon Mack 6.8 YPC (Yards per carry

    Mack is a good blocker
Hunt, not so much according to the article below.

Interestingly this article gives both players the same grade>>> http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt...144153789.html

I still think though that Mack is special from what i see on the videos. So the verdict or Hunt versus Mack, for me is go with Marlon Mack if possible.

    2 cents
