Who else got very, very misty eyed when they showed Kraft?

Mara should invite him over and treat him to a nice dinner or something. The man has been through a lot, losing his wife to cancer while he's doing his part to help keep the league together. I'm not sad that the Giants pulled through, but this man deserves better than what he got.

Nobody gave the Giants an honorary Super Bowl when Wellington Mara and Bob Tisch died 3 weeks apart in 2005.

Felt bad for Kraft, but that's why you don't link your personal life that tightly with a football season.

I did. he grew up as a Giants fan. He is still mourning his wife. that shot of him was not needed. </P>


With that said there are several other threads already on this very subject. As a matter of fact there is one that has 9pages already in it. Maybe you would want to read what some of the guys thought of it.</P>

Yeah saw it but I had originally made a topic here because I didn't think a topic about this on the TAGF forum would stay (potentially off topic).

As for Wellington Mara and Bob Tisch, several teams around the league had moments of silence for them, plus we didn't make the SB that year so of course it wouldn't have gained as much attention (super bowl magnifies everything)
