    Unsung Heroes of Super Bowl

Who are your unsung heroes of the Super Bowl? Mine are:

Hynoski - guy had a few catches to contribute offensively, some strong blocks (especially when we lost two TEs), and the huge fumble recovery. That recovery was a big time hustle play because Nicks was way ahead of him which means he was still busting his *** down the field despite the play being away from him.

Blackburn - might have been the most crucial pickup during the season. His INT was huge and although got toasted on the one Hernandez TD, played a very solid game. If the story of him going from substitute math teacher to Super Bowl Champion isn't a great story, then I dont know what is.

Weatherford- some great punts and consistancy throughout the season. If you were sad to seeDodge leave forhim, well then you're an idiot.Love his quote too about how he was making sure that when they won he watched his mouth this time in case there was camera on him again.

Snee - huge fumble recovery and between him, Baas and Boothe, barely heard Wilfork's name all night.

how about a little love for linval joseph. Got good pressure up the middle almost had a few sacks and he is the one that forced brady out of the pocket when he threw that Int to Blackburn

Agree with those guys deserving credit. Also think....
JPP- awesome game- blocked passes, ran down RB's a couple times- pressured Brady- and not a whole lotta talk about his game.
Tuck- huge game- 2 sacks plus forces the safety. Pressure all game.
Nicks- amazing game and catches- just solid.
I think I agree most with Blackburn though- since he came back- our D has played so much better- he does not make every play but he is a leader, big hitter, and the Interception was an amazing play.

Agree with everyone. But i think Hakeem Nicks deserves some love. 10 catches 109 yards. No drops. Couple 3rd down conversions. He was def big especially with Cruz getting doubled

I couldn't get a good angle on it, but seemed Joseph was being held by the arm all the way in on the TD pass on 3rd down to woodhead.
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

What about Ballard. Didn't play huge roll but caught a few impt passes and blocks.. But when he knew his kne was blown out he still tried to get up onside line after he made them tape it and tried to run on it and make a cut and toppled over in pain...
