how about the hug between Coughlin and Belichik? Unusual for TC and totally out of character for BB. It showed the great respect they have for each other and also showed me that it was an emotional night for both of them too.

I noticed it, too. I actually like BB, but I thought that he was possibly overdoing it on purpose to make up for the perception in the '07 SB. I'm probably wrong, but it entered my mind.

the first time i think BB feels like he got ripped off.</P>


the second time i think he wanted to acknowledge that he was facing a worthy opponent that deserved a little more respect than he gave last time.</P>


I'm not a belichek fan, but i have an huge amount of respect for him.</P>


A Football Life gave me more of a perspective of how humble he is.</P>
