Also have to remember that they let go of Brees. That's 3 Super Bowl rings for former Chargers QBs in the last 5 years (even if Eli was a Charger for only a few hours).

I for one was in awe when Archie and Eli pulled that crap. But after seeing what their message board members are saying, They feel screwed and our management really is still "old school" traditional. whether we like it or not it still seems "old school" is still they way to go....Giants, Packers, 49ers. We are not looking to cash in on the backs of our players but win championships for OUR cities and the common 9-5 fan,even though we cannot afford to go to most games and that includes the BIG ONE! That should be the changed and instead of the Superbowl should be called the Common Man Bowl and only aloow DIE hard fans into the stadium for just one game a year!

they are delusional over there. eli is "an avg qb" who only is along for the ride bc of the defense and rivers is clearly the much better qb.

read through that thread, it is a complete joke how warped and delusional they are. whatever tho, if i was a chargers fan i'd have to say things like that just to be able to sleep at night.

absolutely floored that any fan could say eli is just an avg qb and that the giants with rivers would have 4 super bowls, that eli has only had success bc of the defense, just completely irrational thinking going on over there.
