If that had worked out, would Jackson have been the OC-in-waiting? If we have another good year offensively this season, I can see Gilbride getting another HC gig.

[/quote]Theoretically, yes. Hue Jackson has a bit of a different style, slightly different. A lot of similar route priorities (vertical game), but less option based than Gilbride. Jackson would be a bit of a new system, but it would be very effective.
But I don't see Gilbride getting a HC gig. He's like a Tom Moore, at least that's how I see it.
